Black-frame picture window and door on a deck, Front Range foothills beyond

Windows and doors worthy of the house.

Whole-house replacement for Colorado’s larger homes — measured, ordered and installed by the owners’ own crew.

Tall arched multi-pane window on a stucco home, newly installed

Arched multi-lite unit on a stucco home in Castle Pines.

The right product, installed the way the manufacturer intended.

Most window problems aren’t the window. They’re the install — a sill that wasn’t flashed, a frame racked by a quarter inch, foam where there should be backer rod. We spend more time on the opening than the unit, because that’s where a window lives or dies in a Colorado winter.

We install Marvin, Milgard and other leading lines, full-frame or insert, wood, fiberglass or aluminum-clad — and we’ll tell you plainly which one suits your house and budget.

What we do

Three things, done completely. We don’t do siding, roofing or gutters — and we don’t hand your project to a subcontractor.

Replacement windows

Casement, double-hung, picture, specialty shapes. Full-frame replacement or pocket inserts where the frame is sound.

Entry, patio & multi-slide doors

Fiberglass and wood entry systems, French and sliding patio doors, large multi-slide and bi-fold openings.

Whole-house projects

Thirty to eighty openings, sequenced room by room so you stay in the house — and finished inside and out.

Crew positioning a large glass unit in a framed opening

Setting a large glazing unit — this is a four-person lift, and we bring four people.

Our crew. Not a subcontractor’s.

Colorado’s Best is owned by Fred and Whitney Matthies — thirty years of window experience between them, most of it on the install side. Every job is measured by the person who will install it, and the same people finish the trim.

Licensed and insured. We pull permits when the jurisdiction requires them, and we protect floors, furniture and landscaping like it’s ours.
