What does window replacement cost?
It depends on the unit, material, and whether the frame is replaced. As a rough Front Range guide for quality fiberglass, installed: roughly $1,200–$2,500 per standard opening for inserts, $1,800–$4,000+ for full-frame, and more for large picture units, specialty shapes and clad-wood lines like Marvin Signature. Whole-house projects on larger homes commonly run $40,000–$150,000+. We give a fixed, itemized price after measuring — no ranges on the proposal.
How long does it take?
Custom product: four to twelve weeks from order depending on the manufacturer and season. Installation: a door or a few windows in a day; a whole house typically three to eight working days, sequenced so you can stay home.
Full-frame or insert — which do I need?
If the existing frames are sound, square, and you like the size, an insert saves money and disruption. If there’s rot, out-of-square frames, failed flashing, or you want to change the size or style, full-frame is the right answer. We’ll show you what we find and recommend accordingly — we do both and have no reason to push one.
Can you install in winter?
Yes. We open one opening at a time and the new unit is in within about an hour, so the house doesn’t get cold. Sealants we use are rated for cold application. Many of our clients prefer winter for the faster product lead times.
Which brands do you install?
Marvin (Signature, Elevate, Essential), Milgard, and other leading manufacturers for windows; Therma-Tru, ProVia, Masonite and Marvin for doors. We’re not locked to one brand, so we recommend what fits the house and budget.
Do you subcontract?
No. Our own employees measure, install and finish every project, with a foreman on site every day.
Do you pull permits?
Where the jurisdiction requires them, yes — we pull the permit and schedule inspections. Many like-for-like replacements don’t need one; structural changes and egress windows do.
What about stucco and brick?
We do a lot of it. Full-frame replacement in stucco means cutting back, installing new flashing, and patching and color-coating the stucco — all included in our proposal. Brick openings are handled with proper brickmould or panning, not caulk.
What happens if a window arrives damaged or wrong?
We inspect every unit when it arrives — before install day, not with your wall open. A damaged or wrong unit is reordered immediately, the rest of the job proceeds on schedule, and no opening is ever left unfinished while we wait. Custom reorders take real lead time; we give you the honest date up front.
What warranty do I get?
The manufacturer’s product warranty (registered in your name) plus our written workmanship warranty. If something isn’t right, you call us and we come back.
Will you pressure me to sign the same day?
No. You’ll get a written proposal to review on your own time. We don’t do “today-only” pricing.
